Cypher25 | Declassified Spy Film
Step into the shadows with Cypher25, a rare black & white film that was never meant for the public eye. With its coarse-but-fine grain, weak anti-halation layer, and ultra-slow speed, Cypher25 delivers a noir aesthetic straight out of Cold War surveillance reels.
📸 36 exposures, ISO 25–50 – Hand-spooled into recycled 35mm cartridges, ready for your camera.

Why You’ll Love It
• ✨ Unique look – Coarse yet refined grain, with a subtle halation glow around highlights.
• 🎥 Cinematic character – A moody, archival rendering perfect for portraits, stark daylight, and long exposures.
• 🕵️ Spy-film mystique – Feels like Panatomic-X, but exposes more like a T-Max film.
⸻
Shooting Notes
• ISO 32 is the sweet spot.
• Usable between EI 25–50, depending on lighting and taste.
• Best for daylight, flash work, or tripod-based photography.
• Expect atmospheric highlight bloom thanks to its weak anti-halation layer – similar to Cinestill’s cult aesthetic, but in monochrome.

Developing Tips
• D-76 / ID-11 1:1 → ~9.5 min @ 20°C (68°F): balanced tones, fine grain.
• HC-110 (Dilution B) → ~7 min @ 20°C: snappy contrast, crisper edges.
• Rodinal 1:50 → ~11 min @ 20°C: more pronounced grain and edge sharpness.
📌 Developer choice makes a big impact – some soups will refine the grain, others will bring out its coarser side. Perfect for experimentation.
