This newly manufactured viewfinder mask provides a clear 645-format framing reference when using a 645 film back or compatible full-frame medium-format digital back with the Mamiya RZ67.
The RZ67’s generous ground glass was designed around the much larger 6×7 image area. When shooting 645, the camera records only a portion of what remains visible in the finder. This mask clearly defines that smaller capture area, allowing you to compose accurately before making the exposure.
It is equally useful for photographers adapting full-frame 645 digital backs originally designed or configured for use with the RZ67 system.
