Split Spectrum – Experimental B&W Film Pack (Kōun 125 + Ghostline 25)
For photographers who love contrast — in both tones and tools.
This 2-roll film pack is designed for creatives looking to explore two very different black-and-white looks in one sitting. Whether you’re new to film or a seasoned shooter chasing rare stocks, Split Spectrum gives you both nuance and punch.
Kōun 125 is a fine-grained, panchromatic aerial film with extended red sensitivity. That means it captures a full range of tones — from bright whites to shadow detail — with extra attention to warm tones like skin and foliage. It’s rated ISO 125 and performs beautifully in daylight.
Ghostline 25 is something else entirely. This orthochromatic film has no red sensitivity at all. Reds render as pale, skies deepen to charcoal, and everything feels just a little ghostly. Rated at ISO 25, it’s ideal for full sunlight and creative experimentation.
Use them side-by-side to explore what light reveals — and what it hides.

Why We Love It:
We created Split Spectrum to give photographers access to uncommon film experiences — one roll that embraces the full spectrum of light, and another that strips it down to the shadows. It’s a creative challenge and a conversation starter.
