Dizzy’s Cut 100
Limited Run Motion Picture Film
24 Exposure ECN-2 Color Negative Film
ISO 100 Tungsten-Balanced
Some film carries history.
Some film carries stories.
Dizzy’s Cut 100 carries both.
This limited-run 35mm cinema film was hand-spooled from an original unused production short end sourced from the set of The New Guy (2002), filmed throughout Central Texas including Austin, San Marcos, Pflugerville, and Elgin.
Intended for production use but never loaded into a motion picture camera, this reel sat untouched for over two decades before being revived for still photography.
The stock itself is original Kodak Vision-era motion picture film — tungsten balanced, rich in shadow detail, cinematic in rendering, and loaded with unmistakable movie-stock character.

- C-41 processing possible if your lab is comfortable processing cinema film stock
Expect:
- Soft cinematic contrast
- Gentle highlight rolloff
- Vintage tungsten color response
- Motion-picture texture impossible to fake digitally
The Story
This stock came directly from a feature film production.
Not recreated.
Not “inspired by.”
Not repackaged cinema film with a made-up backstory.
This was an authentic production short end connected to The New Guy — rescued from obscurity and given a second life frame-by-frame.
Every image shot on Dizzy’s Cut becomes part of that unfinished history.
Estimated Yield
Current remaining stock is estimated at roughly 130–140 rolls of 24 exposure film before the reel is fully exhausted.
Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
